We’ve noticed that some staff experience internet connectivity issues during virtual training sessions. To help mitigate this, we’ve put together a quick troubleshooting guide for you. Please follow the steps below if you are having connection difficulties:

1. Restart Your Device:

This might seem simple, but sometimes, a quick reboot can solve many connectivity issues.

2. Check Your Internet Connection:

Try to open a website on your browser. If it doesn’t load or takes a while, there might be an issue with your internet connection.

3. Restart Your Router/Modem:

Unplug the power cord from your router/modem, wait for a minute, then plug it back in. Give it a few minutes to reset, then try to reconnect.

4. Run a Speed Test:

This will help us understand the speed of your internet connection. You can use a website like https://speedtest.net. Click on “Go” and it’ll automatically calculate your download and upload speeds. For optimal video conferencing, you should have at least 5-10 Mbps upload and download speeds.

5. Limit the Number of Devices Using Your Network:

If many devices are connected to the same network, it can slow down your internet speed. If possible, disconnect any devices that aren’t in use.

6. Close Unnecessary Applications:

Running multiple apps or programs can use a lot of your computer’s resources, which might affect your connection. Close any unnecessary applications before and during your training session.

If you’ve tried these steps and are still having connectivity issues, please take a screenshot of your speed test results and send it to support@baetherapy.com. We might need to explore other options to enhance your internet experience.
